Super Bowl Sluggers event held on June 10th
Jennifer Bolen and Pam Pynenberg organized a Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser for Families of SMA, Bowl for a Cure, which raised $2,230! This money has been dedicated specifically to SMA research. This was also the first year they held the fundraiser. It was on Saturday, June 10th at Superbowl in Appleton, WI.
“Jerika, SMA II/age 8 and Caiden SMA II/age 2 were the celebrities of the day and loved all the extra special attention! They had fun “making announcements” into the microphone with mom’s help telling others about what SMA was and what it meant to see the support of friends and family. Thank you FSMA for your support in this event and we look forward to bigger and better future events to play our part in changing the course of SMA and giving hope to so many!
