Hoss’s Dinner Fundraiser Held in Altoona, PA

Jeanette Foor FR for Eden Cheslock Hoss Dinner 3“An Altoona, PA, group held their first fundraiser to benefit Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy in honor of 16-month old Eden Cheslock of Dover, DE. The benefit was a Community Night Fundraiser on April 26, 2010 at the Altoona, PA Hoss’s Family Steak and Sea House. Eden’s grandmother (Jeanette Foor) formed a committee (Eden’s Garden of Friends) in February, following Eden’s SMA diagnosis in January. Members handed out approximately 300 Hoss’s cards throughout the community prior to the event. Diners had to present this card when ordering their meals. Hoss’s donated 20% of each check up to the first $1,200 in sales and 25% over $1,200.  Pictured is the photo taken with the Manager of Hoss’s presenting the check of the total proceeds for FSMA, $442.25. Committee members were thrilled with the support. Thank you to all!
