Grand opening of the new restaurant supports efforts for SMA research

On Saturday, July 10 the Greater Florida Chapter was the recipient of a $2,250 check from Orlando’s newest adult dinner show, Treasure Tavern.  To coincide with Treasure Tavern’s grand opening, they hosted an online voting contest where six charities competed for votes and money.  The winner of the most online votes received 50% of the charity earnings, while the other five charities received 10% of the earnings.  We were thrilled to find out that our grassroots efforts landed our FSMA chapter the biggest check of the VIP Opening night!  Our many, many thanks to all of those who promoted our cause and consistently voted.  We’ve proven that it pays!
