Golfers and Friends Shared in a Day to Support Local SMA Families
Even with a little rain, the 6th Annual Spinal Muscular Atrophy Golf Classic was a great success, raising over $14,200 to benefit Families of SMA! The Gettysvue Country Club in Knoxville, TN gave the golfers quite a challenge, but also a beautiful scenic view. Each golfer was also able to try out their “Happy Gilmore” golfing talents in the putting greens contest with a hockey stick and all. There was even a few celebrities that joined in the fun. Thank you so much for attending, Dr. Jerry Punch and Michelle Silva, pictured to the left with Connor Murphy and his classmate. After the golfing was done, everyone enjoyed coming inside to enjoy great food, and a lively auction and raffle.
