This Year’s Golf Tournament Continued to Raise Awareness of SMA and Support for Research

We’re thrilled to report that the Malorie Fox Golf Tournament for Families of SMA – Year # 7 was another big success for the Families of SMA – Michigan Chapter!  We had a lot of return golfers, as well as quite a few new faces – so we must be getting the word out there about SMA – great awareness!  The weather was fantastic and the Watermark Country Club (Grand Rapids, MI) was beautiful and so accommodating!  We had 37 golfers, 19 family/corporate sponsors, numerous generous donations of silent auction items, and 17 eager volunteers; the total money raised that will go towards Spinal Muscular Atrophy research was approximately $7,000 – fantastic!
