Neighbors from all over Medfield, MA Join Forces to Support SMA Research in Hope for a Cure

Our 6^th annual FSMA Yard Sale was a huge success raising $2,265 for the cause.  The annual tradition has grown each year and the community continues to impress us with their incredible donations.  We basically call to Medfield for some spring cleaning each April and items are left all month long in front of our garage until the day of the sale.  This year a huge show stopper was an air hockey table that we actually plugged in and set-up in the street to play.  It really stopped the traffic.  We never price anything, but instead look to the shoppers to be generous with their donation where it all goes to charity.  We know sometimes an item worth $20 walks away for a $2 donation, but just as often an item worth $2 brings in $20.  Sometimes cars just stop and hand a donation to the check-out table without even shopping.  All in all it is a pretty painless way to bring in a couple thousand dollars each spring for Families of SMA!
